Refund Policy

At Wildbeest Safaris, we know travel plans don’t always go as expected. This policy outlines how refunds are handled in different situations to ensure transparency and fairness for everyone involved.

1. Client Cancellations

If you decide to cancel your booking, please let us know in writing as early as possible. Refunds are issued based on how far in advance you cancel:

  • More than 60 days before the trip: 80% refund of the total tour cost
  • 31 to 60 days before the trip: 50% refund
  • 15 to 30 days before the trip: 25% refund
  • 14 days or less before the trip: No refund

Note: Initial deposits are non-refundable unless specifically stated otherwise.

2. Cancellations by Wildbeest Safaris

In rare cases, we may have to cancel a trip. Here’s how we handle those situations:

  • Natural disasters or political unrest: We will offer the option to reschedule your trip at no extra cost. If rescheduling is not possible, we will consider partial refunds on a case-by-case basis.
  • Failure to meet minimum group numbers (if applicable): You will receive a full refund or the option to move your payment to another trip.

3. No Shows and Early Departures

We do not issue refunds for missed services, no-shows, or unused portions of the trip due to early departure, illness, or any other reason once the trip has started.

4. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days and issued to your original payment method. Please note that any bank charges, transfer fees, or third-party cancellation costs will be deducted from the refund.

5. Changes and Amendments

If you need to change your booking such as travel dates we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. Changes may be subject to availability and additional fees depending on the nature of the amendment.
