Day 01 :

Moshi to Machame Gate – Hike to Machame Camp

Transfer to the Machame Gate (1,800m), where registration and briefing take place. Begin your trek
through the misty rainforest, surrounded by towering trees and exotic birdlife, reaching Machame Camp
(3,000m) by late afternoon.

Day 02 :

Machame Camp to Shira Camp

Leave the forest and climb a rocky ridge into the moorland zone. As you rise to Shira Camp (3,840m), the
views open up to stunning panoramas of the plains below and Mount Meru in the distance.

Day 03 :

Shira Camp to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower

Ascend to Lava Tower (4,630m), a dramatic volcanic rock formation. This high point is a key
acclimatization stop. After lunch, descend into the Barranco Valley, rich with giant senecios and surreal
alpine scenery, arriving at Barranco Camp (3,960m).

Day 04 :

Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp (via Karanga)

Climb the famed Barranco Wall — a thrilling scramble with epic views. Cross several ridges and valleys
before reaching Karanga Camp for lunch. Continue up to Barafu Camp (4,673m), your base before the
summit attempt.

Day 05 :

Summit Attempt – Barafu to Uhuru Peak, descend to Mweka Camp

Depart just after midnight for the push to the summit. Pass Stella Point and greet the dawn at Uhuru Peak
(5,895m), the highest point in Africa. Celebrate your triumph, then begin your long descent to Mweka
Camp (3,100m).

Day 06 :

Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate – Return to Moshi

Trek through lush rainforest to Mweka Gate, where you'll receive your summit certificates. Say farewell
to the crew and return to Moshi for a well-deserved rest and hot shower.
